Yesterday I attempted to summarise the last 10 years and called to “get out there, embrace the changes and use your hands and your feet to make this world a better place for us all to live in.”
How then can this look?
Were any of these technological changes over the last 10 years foreseen by you?
How about in your personal life? Look back over the last 10 years:-

How about in your personal life? Look back over the last 10 years:-
- What was great, what was challenging, what was sad, unexpected or hard to accept?
- How much of where you are now was a goal of yours 10 years ago?
So as we stand now on the 1st day of a new decade, can we plan? Yes and No!
Can we draw up a 10 year plan related to physical goals – we can try, but plan for the bends, the detours and the road blockages! Of course if you don’t plan you won’t get anywhere! So plan, move, but be flexible and be opportunistic.

What then can we plan? I think that it is our character and our attitude that we can try to affect and that we can think about what person we want to be in 10 years time. This will then involve setting goals which are more abstract and non-measureable than the physical ones we are used to.
So here are a few of my “character-goals” for the new decade:-
